In 1979, Bob Perry opened Perry’s Butcher Shop in Southeast Houston – a modest meat market that quickly became a staple of the neighborhood.

By 1986, his son, Chris Perry, had persuaded him to add dining tables, paving the way for a second market in 1989. What is now Perry & Sons Market and Grille, they quickly gained popularity, inspiring Chris to create Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in 1993.
