"Sugar Land Social"
by Shelby Hodge
"Chris Perry pulled out the stops Thursday night for the
opening of his Perry's Steakhouse & Grille in Sugar Land Town
Square. First, there was the VIP champagne reception, where he
gave tour after tour of the new eatery to the likes of Sugar Land
Mayor David Wallace, city council members Daniel Wong, Dennis Parmer
and Russell Jones and Planned Community Developers president Les
Newton.
The second part of the opening-night festivities was a $100-a-plate,
five-course dinner with all proceeds benefiting Memorial Hermann
Children's Hospital. That was enough to lure MHCH honchos Dr. Steve
Allen, Craig Cordola and Greg Harb to the tables along with close
to 200 other guests.
The restaurant opens to the public tonight."
